XRP Price Struggles
The price of XRP has launched a comeback wave like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Price rose over $2.75 and $2.80 barriers.
The price is unable to break $2.850 barrier. Recently, negative activity below $2.820 resumed. The price fell below the 50% Fib retracement line of the $2.70 swing low to $2.887 high.
The price is below $2.820 and the 100-hour SMA. If bulls hold $2.780, price may rise again. Price may find resistance at $2.820 on the upside. On the hourly XRP/USD chart, a negative trend line connects to resistance around $2.8180.
Near $2.850 is the first big obstacle. A clean break over $2.850 might push the stock above $2.880. Gains might push the price near $3.00 barrier. The bulls may face a severe test at $3.050.
More Losses?
Without clearing the $2.820 barrier zone, XRP may continue to fall. Initial downside support is approaching $2.780, the 61.8% Fib retracement level of the upward run from the $2.70 swing low to the $2.887 high. Near $2.744 is the next important support.
A downward break and closing below $2.744 might push the price near $2.70. The price may go below $2.650, the next key support.
